Alica Schmidt, who hails from Germany and is often referred to be the most sexist athlete in the world, will take part in the Olympics in Tokyo.

She will be participating in the women’s 4 400 meter relay for Germany as a member of the German squad. Other runners include Nadine Gonska, Hannah Mergenthaler, Laura Muller, Karolina Pahlitzsch, Ruth Sophia Spelmeyer and Corinna Schwab.
Schmidt was a member of the German teams who placed second in the 4×400-meter relay event at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships and third in the same event at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships. Both of these accomplishments were at the European Athletics Championships.
Schmidt started her professional training at MTV Ingolstadt. But as of right now, she is working for SCC Berlin.
In 2017, the publication Busted Coverage referred to Schmidt as “the sexiest athlete on the face of the planet.” And in response to it, she said, “I do not know why I was given this title. The priority here is obviously sports.”
The preliminary rounds of the women’s 4 400-meter relay are planned to take place on July 5, while the final is scheduled to take place on July 7.
