Why "Stranger Things" Nominated Only One Actor This Year
Dacre Montgomery is the sole actor from "Stranger Things" who is eligible for an Emmy this year due to Emmy regulations.
Eddie Munson's iconic final words in "Stranger Things" were "I think it's finally my year,"
but sadly, actor Joseph Quinn will have to wait a little while longer.
The WGA strike has delayed production of the Netflix sci-fi series set in the 1980s,
and given how quickly the Duffer brothers have released seasons in the past,
it feels as though the kids will be grandparents before Season 5.
However, parts of the wildly successful Season 4 Vol. 2 double-episodes from last summer will be vying for the Television Academy's attention this year.
However, due to Emmy regulations, the majority of "Stranger Things" cast members aren't qualified to vote this year.
