In the most recent images to promote season seven of the highly popular Starz series,

Outlander actors Sam Heughan and Caitrona Balfe look like the picture of friendship.

One of the photos published by the show's Instagram on Thursday showed the two joking out of character while filming,

in addition to other somber images of the pair as their characters Jamie and Claire Fraser.

San and Caitrona's co-stars Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin,

who portray Brianna Fraser and Roger Wakefield MacKenzie, are pictured with the couple.

Sam Heughan uploaded the pictures to Instagram on Friday and added the word "Family" and a purple heart as a caption.
