Marvel Finds Robert Downey Jr.'s Replacement, Report Says

According to rumours, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has replaced Robert Downey Jr. In Avengers: Endgame (2019), Disney said goodbye to Tony Stark/Iron Man and Steve Rogers/Captain America. 

Three years later, Disney is finishing Phase 4. In 2021, Disney+ Original WandaVision, starring Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Paul Bettany (Vision), launched Phase Four.

After that, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) were released.

Phase 4 concludes with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) on November 11th, and the studio appears to know what comes next.

Captain Marvel (2019) made over $1 billion worldwide and established the cosmic-powered Avenger as a major MCU force. Captain Marvel helped defeat Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Larson will lead the Avengers in Avengers: Kang Dynasty in the summer of 2025, according to the article.
