Martha Stewart wins ‘historic’ SI Swimsuit cover

One of the cover girls for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is Martha Stewart.

The 81-year-old lifestyle entrepreneur is the oldest swimsuit model the publication has ever used,

and they describe this as "historic."Stewart said of her cover photo on Monday's "Today" show,

"I like that picture. For the session, Stewart posed in the Dominican Republic and is seen in ten different outfits.

Stewart said, "And I don't think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.

When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought,

'Oh, that's pretty good, I'm going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated.'"

Sports Illustrated referred to the cover in a tweet as "epic."
