Jalen Hurts gets master's degree from Oklahoma.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, earned a master's degree after guiding his club to the Super Bowl and securing a huge contract deal.

In interviews, Hurts said he was motivated by his mother, who was a special education teacher during his freshman year of college but watched colleagues being laid off and took action.

In April, Hurts told Essence, "She went back to school and got her master's to become a counselor." "That's a living testimony for me."

The Chiefs won 38-35 after a questionable Eagles call with two minutes remaining.

Hurts' $255 million five-year deal extension in April made him the NFL's highest-paid player per year.

The Eagles face the New England Patriots on Sept. 10 in their season opener.
