How Jonathan Majors' Arrest Affects the Breakout Actor's Career Currently

A 2023 Hollywood breakout star is charged with assault and harassment. On Saturday, Jonathan Majors, who starred in 2023's two highest-grossing films,

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III, was arrested in New York City for allegedly strangling and hitting a 30-year-old woman in a taxi.

Majors was released with a restricted order of protection by a judge, and his lawyers insist he is innocent. The U.S. Army suspended its ad contract with the actor due to the claims.

Here's everything we know about Majors' arrest, the inquiry, and his future endeavors. New York City police told the Associated Press that Majors had a domestic disagreement with a 30-year-old woman thought to be his girlfriend in Manhattan on Saturday morning.

A Chelsea apartment called 911 at 11 a.m. The woman reported police Majors assaulted her, and police arrested him without incident.

The NYPD said the woman received "minor injuries to her head and neck" and was transferred to a hospital in stable condition.

In a criminal complaint, the woman said Majors smacked “her about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear,” ABC News said.

She said Majors gripped her neck and caused neck and hand bruising and swelling.
