Former NFL scout and son of famed coach joins Michigan football recruiting staff.

The University of Michigan football program is bolstering its roster with more than just high-caliber new recruits  

and seasoned players brought in through the transfer portal. 

The red and white are also recruiting notable new members for their coaching staff.

Glenn "Shemy" Schembechler, a former NFL scout who is also the son of the great coach Bo Schembechler,  

has been hired by the Michigan football program. It was Schembechler himself who made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday. 

He posted the following message on his Twitter account, which read, "I'm beyond honored to return home.."

It is stated in his Twitter bio that the Assistant Director of Football Recruiting is his responsibility on the squad. 

The hiring has not been officially confirmed by the University of Michigan as of yet,
