Final Score: 127-97 for the Lakers as LA thrashes Golden State at home in Game 3

In their first home game of their ongoing best-of-seven second round playoff series,

your Los Angeles Lakers defeated the visiting Golden State Warriors today, but I didn't expect a complete annihilation. But I just have it.

At first, it seemed as though Golden State might be able to replicate its outstanding Game 2 performance from the 3-point line in Game 3 at Crypto.com Arena.

LeBron James got off to a terrible slow start, failing to attempt a field goal in the first quarter for the first time in 276 playoff games, which allowed the Warriors to take an early 30-23 lead.

The shortfall was taken up by D'Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis, with D-Lo leading off the contest with a 9-2 run over Golden State by himself.

Russell, who has fluctuated in his scoring performance throughout these playoffs, was blazing hot right away.

He scored 13 points in a flash in the first quarter on 5-of-7 shooting from the field (3-of-4 from beyond the arc), added two rebounds, and dispersed one dollar.

Davis had eight first-quarter points on 2-of-5 shooting, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.
