CHRIS ROCK SPEAKS ON WILL SMITH OSCARS SLAP AT SOLD-OUT BALTIMORE SHOW

Chris Rock addressed the Oscars smack at his sold-out Baltimore gig on Friday. Rock briefly mentioned the uncomfortable Will Smith meeting after weeks of silence before starting his act.

Rock said nothing else about the slap. He continued his hour-and-a-half set without mentioning it.

A local news station interviewed Rock's mother, Rosaline "Rose" Rock, about the incident. “When Will slapped Chris, he slapped us all, but he really slapped me,” said the matriarch. “Hurt my child, hurt me.”

She called the Oscar ban insufficient given the Smiths don't attend every year. She believed Smith's apology was insincere.

Rose lamented that he never apologized. “His people wrote, ‘I apologize to Chris Rock,’ but something like that is personal. You extend.”

At an Indio, California, gig earlier this month, the celebrity comic suggested he was looking for the highest-bidding network to air Rock's uncut story.

“Not until I get paid,” he said. Smith resigned from the Academy, apologized, and was barred from the event for a decade.

People claims that he was last seen at a private airport in Mumbai, India, taking selfies with fans.   Rock performs May 6 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
