Ben Simmons Insults the 76ers Following Their Game 7 Loss to the Celtics

The Celtics eliminated the 76ers in the second round of the playoffs; the loss came in Game 7 and was eventually a rout.

It appears that former Sixers guard Ben Simmons, who was moved to the Nets in February 2022 on bad terms, was watching the game and took advantage of the chance to make fun of his old squad.

In a narrative he shared on Instagram, Simmons depicted the Game 7 match between Boston and Philadelphia playing out in the backdrop on a TV.

The Celtics were almost certain to win at that time, and it seemed like Simmons was sipping red wine to celebrate.

The Celtics were leading the Sixers, 108-78, at the moment the picture was taken. They ultimately defeated the opponent 112-88 to advance to

the Eastern Conference finals, where they will play the Heat.Due to a back issue, Simmons missed a large portion of the season.

This season, he made 42 appearances for the Nets, playing 42 games, and averaged 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds,

and 6.1 assists. Despite Simmons' absence from the series, the 76ers swept Brooklyn in the opening round of the playoffs.
