NEW YORK - SARATOGA SPRINGS On Friday, May 12 at Fish Creek Marina in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., the Drexel University women's rowing team will compete in the CAA Championships, where they will attempt to earn their first conference title.
Drexel and Northeastern finished with the same number of points, but the Dragons came out on the losing end of the Varsity 8+.
Both the 2V8+ and 3V8+ events were won by DU. All-Conference honors went to Grace Comerford, Isabella D'Angelo, and Alexandra Natale.

History of CAA Championships After five consecutive years on the Cooper River, this year's CAA Championships are being held at Saratoga Springs for the first time.
Drexel has taken home the V8+ title in 2019 as well as five other championship races.
The Cooper River in Pennsauken, New Jersey will host the 2018 NCAA Championship from May 27-29. The winner of the CAA Championship will get an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship.
