Adam Silver'shocked' by 2nd Ja Morant gun video; Grizzlies guard takes 'full accountability'

Adam Silver was "shocked" by Ja Morant's gun-flashing three days after a second video leaked on social media.

ESPN's draft lottery coverage on Tuesday included an interview with the NBA commissioner.

Silver informed Malika Andrews that he and Morant discussed "directly about the consequences" after Morant showed a gun in a March video.

That incident and others led to Morant's leave of absence and eight-game suspension without pay.

Silver believed Morant took the problem seriously after talking to him. The second gun video on Saturday night "shocked" him.

Silver noted Morant's "safety issues" and his example for "millions if not tens of millions of kids.

The league is investigating the latest footage, but "I'm assuming the worst."

Morant "is suspended from all activities pending league review," according to an announcement made by the NBA on Sunday.
